Waiting
(La espera)

A mother, a daughter, a neighbour, apart and together. These characters harbour frustrations and reproaches in anonymous, empty spaces, weaving a silent and sickly relationship of mutual dependency. There are some escape routes, especially for the daughter, but these are not taken because of the stifling routine which dominates their lives. When the explosion finally erupts in their lives, it comes too late. They are doomed to be either just the three of them, or nothing at all.
