Submit a film

Film submissions for the Official Selection – composed by an International Competition and Special Screenings – are open until August 21st 2023.

The 45th edition of the Festival des 3 Continents will take place in Nantes from November 24th to December 3rd 2023.

The films from the International Competition will be screened again (one screening per film) after the festival in Paris, January 2024.

Preselection Conditions

completed after November 1st 2022;
made by directors who originate from or are nationals of a country from Africa, Latin, Black and Indigenous America, or Asia;
at least 45 minutes in length;
have the French premiere available (this applies to the International Competition).

To submit a film, you need to:

1. Comply with the preselection conditions.
2. Fill out the online entry form here:
– Indicate an online screener link or send your film on DVD to the address indicated in the entry form.
– Proceed with the payment of an entry fee of 15€ via the PayPal button.
– Once the form is fully completed, please do not forget to validate your subscription.
– An email confirming the submission will be immediately sent to your email address.

Selection

Filmmakers having their film selected at the festival will be personally contacted. The official selection will be published on the festival’s website in early November 2023.
