- Project has to be a feature length film in the development stage.
- Project has to be a fiction feature film (TV films not accepted, feature documentaries accepted only for the Agadir PAS workshop).
- Project has to last 60 minutes minimum.
- The producer must already have some experience in production (short films, TV films, audiovisual programme…).
- No previous experience in international coproduction is required from the producer.
- At the time of application, the budget must not exceed 30% of the overall film budget.
- Project must be introduced by a producer and a director duo (a director cannot be his own producer).
- The full script or an extended treatment (25-30 pages) is requested in the case of selection.
- A production company can apply only one project at a time for a workshop.
- A production company can apply two times in a row with the same project if it meets the previous criteria.
- Applications must be completed in English.

FilmLab South Asia · PAS & DIFF Workshop
Conditions of eligibility
- Projects from the following countries are eligible for this workshop: India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, SriLanka and Maldives, Tibetan diaspora residing in South Asia.
- In case of dual citizenship, the country taken into consideration is the one linked to one of the countries enlisted above.
Conditions of participation
- A submission fee of INR 5000 (56 euros) per person is required by the organization and will have to be paid here
- Transportation and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the participants.
- A part of catering expenses is covered by the organization.
Participants commitments
- Keep DIFF & PAS updated about the production progress of the film
- Credits obligations: insert the DIFF and PAS logos into the film credits, along with the mention “Mentorship Support from FilmLab South Asia (organised by Produire au Sud & Dharamshala International Film Festival)“
Recife PAS Workshop
Conditions of eligibility
- Projects from Brazil are eligible for this workshop.
- Among the final selection, one spot will be for a project from the Northeast region of Brazil.
Conditions of participation
- The transport and accommodation costs are covered by the organization of the workshop and its partners. The workshop organization also covers meals and catering during the workshop.
Studio Darom · Sderot PAS Workshop
Conditions of eligibility
- Projects from Israel are eligible for this workshop.
- The Studio Darom team will give special attention to projects that take place in the South of Israel and/or which filmmakers are based in the South of Israel.
- Alumni from previous PAS workshop can re-apply to the workshop with a new project only if they present an alternative producer on their behalf to the new workshop

- A participation fee of 200 euros per person is required for administrative costs in case of selection.
- Accommodation and catering expenses are covered by Studio Darom
Taipei PAS x TAICCA Workshop
Conditions of eligibility
- The workshop will be open to Southeast Asian countries (Burma, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taïwan, Thailand, East Timor, Vietnam) + Japan
Conditions of participation
- A participation fee of 400 euros per team is required for administrative costs in case of selection. This amount is not refunded even in the event of cancellation.
- In case of selection, the participation fee has to be paid directly to TAICCA (Taiwan Creative Content Agency) during the first step of the workshop.
- Transportation and accommodation expenses are covered by TAICCA (Taiwan Creative Content Agency).
- A part of catering expenses is covered by TAICCA (Taiwan Creative Content Agency).
Dubai Studio City x PAS Workshop
Conditions of eligibility
- The workshop is open to UAE-residing scriptwriters and producers, regardless of their nationality.

PARTICIPANTS commitments
If selected to one of the Produire au Sud workshops, directors and producers agree to:
- Keep the Produire au Sud team posted about the production process of the film.
- Insert Produire au Sud logo (downloadable below) into the film credits as well as the following mention: “The producer and the director of this film have benefited from the Produire au Sud workshop expertise in (year of selection). Produire au Sud is the professional program of the Festival des 3 Continents – Nantes (France)”.
- Apply the final version of the film to the dedicated application form.

- A short bio of the producer (10 lines)

- A cover letter from the producer specifying his·her interest in Produire au Sud and the project he·she is presenting
By the director:
- The director’s CV including his·her filmography

- A director’s statement of intent specifying the narrative and cinematographic aims of the project
- Previous work(s) of the director (Vimeo links preferably)
- A synopsis (1 page maximum)
- A treatment (10 pages maximum)
- A provisional budget
- A financing plan (which must present a balanced amount, equivalent to the budget, and must mention finances already in place)
- A technical data sheet (film format, technical and artistic staff…)
- A production schedule
- A photo to illustrate the project
