Born in Ahwaz in 1951, K. AYARI is an active member of the “new Iranian cinema” which imposed with force, during the 70s, the quality of the Iranian amateur cinema. He started his career in 1970 with 15 short super 8 films that were noticed inside and outside the Iranian borders. He taught film at the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults and Jondi Shapur University, while making documentaries for television. After shooting 8 films in 16mm, he turned to professional cinema.
