The people of a small village perched in the mountains are tired of the hardships they have to face day after day. Their last ordeal is supposed to free them from all their troubles. One day, something happens in the village and the body of a man is found nearby. The varying attitudes of each inhabitant towards the incident reveal the diversity of characters, mentalities, traditions and morals of the village people.
