Ichi the Killer

It is a day just like any other in the gangland of Shinjuku. While boss Anjo of the powerful yakuza Anjo group entertains himself with a prostitute in an apartment, his men hang about in their offi- TAKASHI MIIKE ce at the “Yakuza Mansion”, leaving their boss unattended. The next day, the boss vanishes, together with one hundred million yen from the safe and the prostitute who was with him at the time. The door lock was “sliced” open as if by a sharp-edged knife, and a glob of semen was left on the floor. Members of the Anjo Group, Kakihara, Kaneko and Takayama desperately search for their missing boss. Kakihara, a masochistic torture expert, orders his crew to persistently search for their mis- sing boss in yakuza offices, sex houses, bars and clubs, turning the town upside down.
