Dtective Yoshioka investigates several murders that seemes to be related Each victim is found drowned, his body filled with salt water, this water that threatens to engulf the abandonned neighborhoods around Tokyo during the next earthquake. Plagued by stress and the crisis in his marriage, Yposhioka discovers familiar objects on the crime scenes that drive him to question his own guilt: could he be the murderer?
