Film submissions for the Official Selection – consisting of an International Competition and Special Screenings – are open until July 17 2026.
The 48th edition of the Festival des 3 Continents will be held in Nantes from 20 to 28 November 2026.
Preselection Conditions
- Films completed after November 1st 2025;
- directed by filmmakers who originate from or are nationals of a country from Africa, Latin America, or Asia. Indigenous American or Black American filmmakers are also eligible;
- Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental (all forms of cinema);
- With a duration of 45 minutes or more;
- have the French premiere available (this applies to the International Competition).

To submit a film, you need to:
1. Comply with the preselection conditions.
2. Fill out the online entry form.
– Indicate an online screener link or send your film on DVD to the address indicated in the entry form.
– Proceed with the payment of an entry fee of 18€ via the PayPal button.
– Once the form is fully completed, please do not forget to validate your subscription.
– An email confirming the submission will be immediately sent to your email address.
Selection
Filmmakers having their film selected at the festival will be personally contacted. The official selection will be published on the festival’s website in early November 2026.

Submission Fees
Submissions are only considered if completed through the official platform and accompanied by the required fee.
Fee waivers are not granted. Requests regarding fee waivers will not receive a response.
Invoices
If you have submitted your film via the submission page, PayPal automatically generates an invoice and sends it to the email address provided in your submission form.
Please note that, as this invoice is issued directly by PayPal, we are unable to provide an additional invoice, as this would create a duplicate entry in our accounting system.
