In the isolated Moroccan countryside, Abderahim, a young illetrate shepherd finds himself involved in a whirlwind of social and moral conflicts. Initiated to the politics through the corrupted sole candidate of the village, he learns how to read and gains more conscience of politics and justice. His decision to run the election as a local candidate causes major uproar within his family and his own identity.
