T. SULEIMENOV was born in 1959. In 1982, he graduated from the
engineering degree from the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute. In 1987, he began his studies at the Moscow Film Academy. In 1991, he directed a short film, A Shadow of a Boy. Strejndzer is his first feature film.
