María APARICIO

María Aparicio was born in 1992 in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. She is a filmmaker and educator. Las Calles (2016) is her first film as a director, followed by Sobre las nubes (2022) and Las cosas indefinidas (2023). These films have been shown at numerous international film festivals and exhibitions, obtaining several awards. In September 2026, her fourth feature film, Sometimes Sadness, Sometimes Rebellion, premiered at the Giornate degli Autori, where it won the top prize.
