Born in Rancagua in 1993 Diego Soto is a filmmaker from the Escuela de Cine de Chile, with a degree in Documentary from the Universidad Academia Humanismo Cristiano. He has directed the documentary shorts ¿Cómo se llega a la moneda? (2019), Dos Octubres (2021) and the feature films A Faraway Fire (2019) and Deaths and Wonders (2023) who won Special Jury Price in 24°BAFICI, Special Jury Price 30° FIC VALDIVIA and National Competition Price FIDOCS 27).
