Hessam has to go abroad for medical treatment. His wife, Sara, pays for the travel expenses, explaining that the money has corne from the wealth she inherited from her father. Hessam returns home after successful medical treatment. But Sara is trying to pay her debts by doing sewing jobs without telling her husband. Goshtasb, the man who helped Sara financially, is accused of forging documents. He asks Sara to make Hessam, now a bank manager, help him keep his job. But Hessam discovers the documents were forged by his own wife and tells her that she does not deserve to live with her family. Heartbroken, Sara leaves her home.
