Disappointed after discovering that his sister has a relationship with a man who cooperates with the Israelis, Hamed, a Palestinian, travels across the desert to join his mother, a refugee in the West Bank. In the desert, he meets a lost Israeli soldier. Their encounter changes the normal course of things.
