Summer 1983. The whole country is glued to the television. KBS is airing a special programme intended to help reunite families separated by the Korean War. Hwa-young, who has managed to keep harmony in her home, decides to search for her lost son, with her second husband’s agreement. On the way to the television studios, Hwa-young begins to reminisce about her past.
