A young Guatemalan man from the Caribbean coast, where people speak Garifuna, emigrated to New York where he plays music. He returns to his small town after his mother died. He is reunited with his old friends and his ex-girlfriend whom he would like to take up with again. Yet he eventually goes back to New York.
