Born in Buôn Ma Thuôt, in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, Truong Minh Quý often sets his films in this region, which deeply inspires him. His works have been shown at major international festivals such as the Berlinale, Locarno, Rotterdam, and New York. His latest film, Viêt and Nam (2024), was selected for Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival.
