Sérgio Borges has lived in Recife for 5 years, father of 5 children. He has been creating audiovisual works since 1996. Founding filmmaker of Teia, one of the most important collectives in the Brazilian independent audiovisual scene since 2000. His films have been shown and awarded at several national and international festivals. His first feature film O Céu sobre os Ombros was the big winner at the 43rd Brasília Festival and Best Documentary in 2011 at the 29th Festival Internacional de Cine Uruguayo.
