Sahar is 14 years old she is her family’s elder child. Her father taught her how to weave carpets. Today, she is in charge of the family workshop. In the Naadim family one is a weaver by father to son. In Afghanistan, in these families, the children do not go to school and from a very young age on they work 20 hours a day. Their clients are big businesses or organizations, belonging to rich and important people. The days are tiring. Sahar awakes at 4 o’clock in the morning. She prays, and then helps her mother with the domestic tasks.
