In partnership with Morelia Lab, Produire au Sud participates in a series of conferences for young Mexican producers during the Morelia International Film Festival.

The 2007 Morelia Lab Workshop welcomed 32 participants from different countries in Latin America. The Workshop will also award two $50,000 prizes for the development of two film projects –the first one, offered by the Mexican Institute of Cinematography, will be awarded to a Mexican project, while the second one, sponsored by Cinépolis, will be presented to a Latin American project.
