Isabelle is a filmmaker based in New York. She holds a BA in Film and Media Studies from Columbia University. Over the past three years, Isabelle has been working on her On Exile Trilogy, writing, producing, and directing films such as The Wall (Short, 2025), Another Birth (Feature, 2025), and Still We Must Live (Feature, Post-Production). She follows Werner Herzog’s method: “Roll up your sleeves and work as a bouncer in a club or warden in a lunatic asylum for six months, and you’ll have enough money to make a film.” Isabelle’s debut feature, Another Birth, received post-production support from the Doha Film Institute. Still We Must Live, her second feature, was selected for the prestigious First Cut Lab Doha, where she is working closely with renowned editor Sebastián Sepúlveda, known for editing films such as Jackie (2016), Spencer (2021), Ema (2019), and more. The film is currently in post-production and is slated for release in 2026. Currently, Isabelle is working on the third and final installment of the trilogy, When Soft Voices Die.
