The Wasps Are Here, known for its simple yet elegant realism, unfolds like a gathering storm. Set in a remote fishing village where life ebbs and flows with the tides, the locals live by the rhythm of the sea, bound by labour, rituals, and unspoken codes. Among them moves Anton, a man who exploits his own people. When Victor, a young man from the city with modern tastes and bold ambitions, arrives, the village’s fragile balance is disrupted. His vision collides with Anton’s calculated control. Caught in the crossfire is an innocent village girl, Helen. What begins as a clash of class and culture soon deepens into something personal, stirring the waters between tradition and transformation, power and resistance, dignity and desire.
