1974: a little fishing village on the Mediterranean coast in the shadow of the fortress of Badis, a Spanish enclave on Moroccan territory. A teacher has asked to be transferred from Casablanca to this godforsaken village to be in a better position to supervise Touria, his wife, whom he suspects of infidelity. He confines her to the house.  She becomes friends with Moira, a young girl from the village whose father is a fisherman and whose Spanish mother ran away 15 years ago. Moira starts to have a liaison with a Spanish soldier from the nearby garrison. But the gossip and intrigue of the villagers put an end to this idyll. Prisoners of such a narrow-minded world, the two women try to run away…
