In the 1970s, in Colombia, a family of Wayuu indigenous people finds itself at the heart of the flourishing sale of marijuana to American youth. When the families’ honor tries to resist the greed of men, clan warfare becomes inevitable and jeopardizes their lives, culture, and ancestral traditions. It is the birth of the drug cartels.
The screening will be presented by Léa Leboucq from the Festival des 3 Continents and preceded by a presentation of the program for the 47th edition.
