In the Panchir, the mujaheddin fight the Soviet army. Abdel, one of the best fighters, is captured and imprisoned. When the Soviets attack and burn his village down, the mujaheddin fight back. But the Soviets take Abdel out of the prison and burn him on the battlefield.
