A place to work and network
Open to all accredited professionals, the Cinémas du Monde Pavilion offers nearly 400 m2 of fully equipped
work-space (internet, meeting spaces, press briefing areas and round-tables...) that is conducive to formal and
informal exchanges between film-makers and professionals involved in promoting the cinemas of the World.
A professional programme run by LES 3 CONTINENTS
The Pavilion is inviting more than a dozen directors and producers from Africa, Asia, Latin America, central and
eastern Europe, and the Near and Middle East to take part in the professional activities of the Marché du Film, an
essential rendezvous for films and development projects that have potential on the international market. These
activities, designed by LES 3 CONTINENTSto help the professionals promote their projects, include round-tables,
conferences and showings of films.
Special meetings and opportunities for discussion (at the Cinémas du Monde Breakfasts, the "Cartes Blanches"
events, Press Briefings and partner evenings) will be organised at regular intervals on behalf of all parties with an
interest in the Pavilion, so as to present and argue their proposals.
An exceptional media platform
In 2010, the member media of Audiovisuel Extérieur de la France - RFI, Monte Carlo
Doualiya, FRANCE 24 - and the French-speaking partner channel TV5MONDE will have their sets in the Pavilion
itself, giving the event exceptional media coverage, thanks to daily live broadcasts and special programming in
association with the Cinémas du Monde.
