In the fourteenth century, once he has acceded to the throne, Yeonsan wants to rehabilitate his mother’s position, the Queen that had been a victim of a conspiracy and poisoned. But the court vehemently disagrees. Yeonsan’s mingled vengeful madness and disappointment lead him to act tyrannically and with extravagance...
