16 young African filmmakers were selected for their short film project.

The first FACM Committee was held on July 16, 2007.
The jury composed by Anne-Laure Folly, Jean-Pierre Bekolo, François Bergeron, Anabelle Thomas and Toussaint Tiendrebeogo approved the following 16 projects:

Total amount of financial allocation disbursed: 116 000 euros
Total amount of financial allocation: 160 000 euros
Minimum and maximum amount per applicant: 3 200 to 9 000 euros
Countries: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo (DRC), Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mali, Senegal, Tanzania.

For each financial allocation, the Association LES 3 CONTINENTS disbursed (60%) of the allocated amount before the shooting of the film while the balance is paid out once the short film is finished.

The Committee that took place on July 11, 2008 - selected 9 projects and rejected 23 projects
