Mohammad Atebbaï was born in 1962, in Teheran. He was in charge of The Farabi Foundation, which is responsible for promoting Iranian cinema in international festivals. In 1997 he created his own production company.
Since 1998, he has participated in producing The May lady by Rakshan Bani-Etemad, worked with Jafar Panahi producing Circle, and produced Deserted station by Ali-Reza Raissian.
Following his involvement with Producing in the South, Mohammad Attebaï continues promoting Iranian cinema abroad, acting in his role as an ambassador for Iranian directors in numerous international festivals.
In 2002, Mohammad Attebaï produced Captive...Waiting, a documentary on relations between Iraqis and Iranians. |

Born in 1947, Ebrahim Mokhtari is renowned as one of Iran’s foremost documentary film makers.
In 1994, he directed Zinot, his first full length fiction film. Zinot was selected in Cannes at the Annual International Critics’ Week Festival and has won many awards at international festivals.
In 1997, the Leipzig Festival honored him with a retrospective of his career.
In rouz-haye abri will be his second feature film.
Between 1994 and 2000, Mokhtari followed the life of iranian women: Zinat, as a fiction(Zinat) then as a documentary (Zinat, une journée particulière). |
