Summer Kisses Winter Tears
Synopsis: Tong moves away from his gambling mather to Kuala Lumpur. He is a good snooker hustler and hopes to play the big game. He spends most time drifting about with his pal Seven, a Chinese-speaking Indian who dabbles in illegal activities. In the meantime he harbors a quiet affection for his divorces cousin sister. Tong's aimless passivity reflects the basic attitude of most ordinary youths of this generation. |

James Lee was born in 1973.
He began in theaatre production, before venturing into experimental short videos. He also produces and directs TV series, commercials and music videos.
He directed and produced his first long features on DV: Sniper (2000), Ah Beng Returns (2001) and Room to Let (2003)- Which was selected in n umerous festivals. He also produces other independent works: First Take, Final Cut by Ng Thian Hann and documentary The Big Durian, by Ammir Muhammad (Yamagata, Rotterdam, Singapore...).

Yuhang Ho studied and worked as an engineer. But he decided to become a director. He has directed many sorts films and documentaries. In addition to this work, he also creates experimental, alternative films. He is a production assistant and an assistant director.
His first feature, Min was selected in Singapore, Cinefaz (India) and in competition in Nantes 2003.
His latest documentary, Classroom, won the National Prize for Best Documentary.
Summer Kisses Winter Tears ( Produire au Sud selection) will be his second feature.
He got the Best directing Award with Rain Dogs in 2006 in Nantes.
