IN ABSENCE OF THE SUN |
Indonesia - 2006
Synopsis: A quiet, tender night is experienced through the eyes of three insomniacs as they struggle to find themselves in the urban jungle of Jakarta. Battling their own past luggage, present confusions, future hopes, and ultimately loneliness, they will have to resolve this one melancholic night through the people they share it with along the way. As the sun presents, readying itself for another long strenuous day, the lives of these souls are altered. A sense of new possibility is definitely found, and they are finally able to go to sleep. |
