Fernando Epstein was born in 1969. In 1999, he created the film production company Control Zeta Films. His first production, 25 Watts, has been acclaimed by the public and the critics. It has been released in Uruguay and other South American countries. This year we are presenting 25 Watts at The Festival of the Three Continents in the “Autour du Rio de la Plata” series.
He recently developed Whisky, his second collaboration with the director’s of 25 Watts. Whisky has been awarded a grant from the Sundance Institute, and is co-produced by Hernan Musaluppi, a member of the Producing in the South network.
In april 2006, two projects from Control Z Films was presented in Produire au Sud Buenos Aires (Bafici): Acné by Federico Veiroj and Gigante by Adrián Biniez. Producers are Laura Gutman and Agustina Chiarino. |

Manolo Nieto was born in 1972 in Montevideo.
His first directing experience was on the short film, Nico y Parker, in 2000. The response to Nico y Parker in international festivals was extremely positive.
Previously, he worked as assistant director on the production 25 Watts.
