Peru - 2007

Synopsis:Cayetana, a solitary young girl with a vivid imagination, struggles to maintain her place in the family, convinced that she will die the day that her brother is born. As the deadline approaches, her real and imaginary idols begin to crumble.

Roxana Rivera began her production career with “The Useless Miracles of Demeryat” (1999), a short that premiered at the Brussels Horror Film Festival. She then co-produced “The Heirs” that won best short at the 2007 Encuentro Latinoamericano de Cine. She has participated as an art production manager in the feature films: “Madeinusa” (2006), “The Watercolorist” (2008) and “Gods” (2008).

She is currently developing Rosario García Montero´s “Las Malas Intenciones”.

Named one of the 25 New Faces of Indie Film 2004, Rosario Garcia-Montero has written and directed three short films: “Locked” (2002), “Are You Feeling Lonely?” (2004) and “Perfidia” (2005). These films have earned international recognition, won eight jury awards and been shown at prestigious festivals around the world, including the Sundance Film Festival.

She is currently working on a feature film project, “Las Malas Intenciones”, which is scheduled to be shot in Peru in 2008
