LA SANGRE Y LA LLUVIA |
Colombia - 2004
Blood and rain
Synopsis: Jorge and Angela have few bearings and little sense of identity. They bump into each other by chance during a rainy night and together are involved in a chase in the dark and dangerous streets of Bogota. Each of them, in his own way, is confronted with death on a daily basis; each one is looking for a meaning to life, a justification for his existence. In just under six hours, the town and its ghosts brings them together for a night before driving them apart forever. This project was part of the Tenth Screenwriters' Workshop of the Sundance Institute in Oaxaca, Mexico. |
