Chile - 2006
Synopsis: Carla decides to spend some days at a National Park in the south of Chile. Her improvised travel mate will be Ulrik, a confused norwegian young man she meets on the road. As good tourists, Carla and Ulrik, will try to maintain a prudent distance, building up the perfect postcard of their lives. Little by little they will discover each other’s secrets, as they get deeper into the landscape. |

Macarena López was born in Santiago and studied Business administration.
She started working in the audiovisual industry in 2003 as the executive producer of the feature film Play, written and directed by Alicia Scherson and coproduced by Parox (Chile) – Morocha Films (Argentine) and Paraiso Productiion (France).
In 2005 she produced Women workers leaving the factory a short film by José Luis Torres Leiva (Best Short Film Award in Bilbao and Drama Film Festival).

Alicia Scherson was born in Santiago de Chile in 1974. After graduating as a biologist, she studied filmmaking in the Escuela de Cine de Cuba, EICTV, and then got a Master in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship.
Her first feature film, Play (2005), received the Best First Feature Award in Cuba Film Festival as well as Tribeca and the Audience award in Nantes and Montreal.
Turistas will be her second feature film.
