The magic gloves

Los gantes magicos was co-produced by the French production company, Artcam International and the German production company, Pandora Films. It was selected for competition at The Locarno Film Festival in 2003.

After completing his studies at the University Cinema Foundation, Hernán Musaluppi created the cinema production company, Rizoma Films with Martin Rejtman.

Rizoma Films produced Martin Rejtman’s second film Silvia Prieto, and then went on to participate in several feature length projects: No quiero volver a casa by Albertina Carri, La libertad by Lisandro Alonso (Un Certain Regard, Cannes Film Festival, 2002), Todos juntos by Federico Leon and Nos sos vos, soy yo by Juan Taratuto.

Hernán Musaluppi co-produces Whisky (Produire au Sud 2002 et Sundance Award 2003), with Fernando Epstein from Ctrl-Z Films.

Born in 1961 in Buenos Aires, Martin Rejtman studied cinema at New-York University. He has worked as an editor at Cinecitta.He is a film maker, a fiction writer as well as screenwriter.

He directed two short films before directing his feature length film, Rapado (The Locarno Film Festival, 1992)
In 1999, his second feature length film, Silvia Prieto, is selected and wins a prize (Panorama Berlin 1999: Best screenplay, 3 Continents 1999).
