Produire au Sud abroad

PRODUIRE AU SUD ABraod

Since 2003, the workshop has been regularly organized abroad in addition to the edition in Nantes. It ensures the workshop constant visibility and another form of the development of its professional network.

The “Produire au Sud workshops abroad” are organized in partnership with International Film Festivals. Pprevious workshops have been held in  Buenos Aires, Bangkok, Salvador de Bahia, Beyrouth, Nairobi, Belo Horizonte, Recife, Durban, Caracas, Sderot.

For the workshops abroad, the call for applications is no longer aimed at the 3 continents (Africa, Latin America and Asia) but to the neighboring countries of the host country (generally three or four). These “regional” workshops are often shorter (4 to 6 days) and have more practical goals, that is to say they try to answer directly the questions of young professionals confronted with local or regional professional issues. The presence of hardened professionals coming from the region ensures them of answers of practical nature.

A follow-up of the projects (reminder of the applications for funds, advice, etc.) is possible at the end of the workshop and organized by the coordinators of the workshop.

The Call for Entries of the International workshops

The call for applications and details of each international workshop is open 4 or 6 month before the beginning of the workshop. The call for entries is announced through our newsletter and on our website.
